Our Recent Trips

Kapalua Bay Beach

I just returned after a 16 day trip to the islands of Hawaii. 11 were spent on Maui and 5 on Kauai. As I stepped off the plane in Maui, I felt immediately hydrated (I love the humidity), relaxed and excited! I lived on Maui for 20 years and still appreciate its beauty, Aloha spirit, people and lifestyle. I can return again and again, and never get tired of it. There is so much to do and so little to do, if you know how.

Some of my highlights were:

  • A clear sky! (I live in Los Angeles now so you can imagine.)
  • Many beautiful beaches.
  • The gentle rain and rainbows
  • The local food…ono kine grinds brah! i.e., komoda's, Roy's, potlucks w/ da local's (I have many friends there so I got lucky enough to be invited to a pot luck.) Mama's Fish House (see photos), Maui Taco's, poke and poi from Star Market, pineapples, papayas and mangos from the farmer's markets or from Star Market, etc.
  • Going to sleep at a descent hour and feeling exhausted from chasing my 2 1/2 yr old around at the beach. :0)
  • Waking up to the sound of the birds and feeling refreshed and enthusiastic.
  • Taking Jayden (my daughter) on The Sugar Cane Train

  • The many turtles that popped there heads up in front of our property.
  • Let's not forget The Mai Tai's.
  • Dressing extremely casually!
  • Getting tanned!
  • Not working! (Even though I love what I do.)
  • Being w/my loved ones w/ no interruptions.
  • Seeing old friends.
  • The smell of the beautiful flowers everywhere!
  • Looking at the beautiful natural and manicured landscape and foliage.
  • Seeing many happy children.
  • Going to a luau, the fire dancer was amazing.
  • The free, untouched entertaining beauty of a sunset.

  • Getting to know Kauai, WOW!

Now onto Kauai, I have never really spent a good amount of time there until now. I am in love! Kauai is absolutely breathtaking. If you really want to get away from it all and love nature and outdoor activities then Kauai is for you. Poipu and Hanalei are directly from Heaven! The island is so green, and un-crowded.

I can help you with either island regardless of your budget. There is the perfect hotel, home or condo waiting for you! I am excited to help you!

With warm aloha, Jill

MAUI'S BEST WHALE WATCHING IS
DEC. 15 - APRIL 15

You don't have to go on a boat to see whales if you are here during the right time of the year. It is common to see people standing on a hillside overlooking the ocean and watching the signs of distant whale activity through binoculars.

You can often SEE whales from shore ... but you can't EXPERIENCE them from that distance. There is a tremendous difference between watching a whale splashing in the water two miles away and experiencing the thrill of looking over the edge of the boat and having one of these gentle giants swim directly underneath you.

If you are here during peak season, do yourself a favor and go on a whale watch!

Our advice is priceless.
